U.S. breaks single-day coronavirus case record for August

The risks of reopening classrooms to in-person learning are now being felt in the College of New York at Chapel Hill. Just days after classes started again, a minimum of 10 students tested positive for that coronavirus, in clusters originating at two campus dormitories. It comes down because the country saw greater than 64,000 new cases Friday, probably the most right away in August to date.
