Beginning Wednesday at 8 a.m., parents and guardians of youngsters aged five to 11 can book a scheduled appointment for his or her child to obtain the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. The very first appointments is going to be on Friday, the minister added.

Premier Jason Kenney made the announcement throughout a news conference, adding Alberta’s first way to obtain pediatric COVID-19 vaccines showed up within the province Tuesday morning.

“The teams at Alberta Health Services and Alberta Health will work to obtain (the vaccines) given to greater than 120 locations over the province within the next day or two,” the premier stated.
