The U.S reported greater than 30,000 new coronavirus cases on Friday and Saturday, the greatest daily totals since May 1, based on data published by Johns Hopkins College. New cases across the nation are surging quicker than ever, particularly in states within the South, West and Midwest. The biggest single-day rise in global coronavirus cases was documented on Sunday, based on the World Health Organization, after greater than 183,000 new cases were reported worldwide. South america, with nearly 55,000 new infections, saw the biggest number of instances reported.
