The Alberta government announced Tuesday that it’ll be resuming COVID-19 contact tracing at schools within the province together with taking other measures to lessen transmission from the virus.

Premier Jason Kenney was became a member of by Health Minister Jason Copping, Education Minister Adriana LaGrange and chief medical officer of health Dr. Deena Hinshaw to announce the measures.

Other measures being drawn in schools include clarifying COVID-19 outbreak definitions, supplying rapid-testing kits and inspiring school government bodies to possess evidence of COVID-19 vaccine policies for adults.
