The application can have a eco-friendly checkmark when the scanned QR code applies. It will likewise display the person’s name and birth date. Companies are requested to ensure the data with another supply of identification.

The federal government states the application doesn’t store any private information and doesn’t require a web connection to function once downloaded.

Based on Alberta Health Minister Jason Copping, by November. 15, “all evidence of vaccination will be performed using the convenience and security from the QR code.”

Other kinds of evidence of vaccination will still be recognized until November. 15, including paper documents from vaccine providers or perhaps a screenshot, or perhaps a printed record from alberta.ca/CovidRecords or MyHealthRecords.
